The Synapse Team

We're a 100% in-house shop. We don't outsource anything. We have fantastic in-house UI/UX designers, stubbing out the application from a design-first philosophy. We have an awesome in-house QA-team that will make you glad they're here, through gritted teeth. And we have our developers extraordinaire, building great enterprise-quality applications for scale, and suggesting new ways to make everything better.

Solve interesting problems

We're problem solvers. It's our favorite thing to do in the world, whether it's trying to reduce fraud on a leading puppy-matching website, building out custom data visualizations to represent the state of affairs between the US and Mexico border, or performing pro-forma calculations on thousands of properties as they hit the market.

The problems we face are as varied as our clients: we don't tend to operate in a single vertical, so we get to know the ins and outs of many different industries. Then we get to the fun part: determining our clients' real problems, and working out creative, clever solutions.

Focus on quality

We specialize primarily in full-stack JavaScript development for our clients. We're not a "web design" firm or a "marketing agency" or an "ecommerce provider". We're just over 40 people, building custom web-based solutions for startups, enterprise clients, and government and academia.
